"If we wouldn’t feel good giving it to our own kids, we don’t want to make it."
SUNNYD4YZ was created by a dad and daughter, so every product starts with two very different questions.
Dad asks: “What’s in it?”
Daughter asks: “But is it actually cool?”
Turns out, both questions matter.
We believe kids deserve skincare that is thoughtfully developed with younger skin in mind — without sacrificing the colors, scents, packaging and personality that make using it fun.
What We Leave Out Matters, Too
We don't believe a long ingredient list automatically means a better product. Our goal is to keep our formulas purposeful and avoid ingredients we don't believe need to be part of a kid's everyday skincare routine.
That means we're developing our products without parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, harsh sulfates like SLS/SLES, or unnecessary synthetic dyes. We're also being thoughtful about fragrance and essential oils, because something smelling amazing shouldn't come at the expense of being gentle on young skin.
Instead, we want every ingredient to have a reason for being there.
We're working with experienced manufacturing partners to develop and appropriately test our formulas, with a focus on products that are gentle, effective and fun to use.
And we're not interested in creating complicated routines or convincing kids they need a bathroom cabinet full of products.
Our philosophy is much simpler:
Protect. Cleanse. Hydrate. Refresh. Then go have fun.
That's what separates SUNNYD4YZ.
Fun enough that your kid reminds you it's time for sunscreen.
Thoughtful enough that you're happy when they do.
Because we're not trying to make grown-up skincare in smaller bottles.
